We stopped in here for breakfast. The food was very good and there was plenty of it. The wait staff was very friendly and the food was well cooked. This is definitely a place to go to when you’re in yachats

My son and I took a road trip on the coast to check out our favorite spots to explore some tide pools. We were feeling hungry and both of us wanted fish and chips. We came across the Blue Whale, we have never been here to eat. We decided to try it out. I was very pleased with the atmosphere and the service was on point. Our fish and chips hit the spot, very good and thick. Our waitress was very friendly and kind..... I'm really bad with names but as we sat down I asked how she was and she had said, "it's been a little busy and she needed to use the restroom". I told her to go ahead, don't worry about us, we are good to wait. When she came back she had said she owes me, I told her it was all good. She decided to reward me with a piece of pie of my choice..... That was awesome and also very good ( coconut cream) highly recommend. Needless to say we will be coming back.

Had breakfast here today as a tourist, but it was our third time coming back. It is truly one of the cleanest, welcoming and delicious spots on the Oregon coast. The kitchen is spotless and the food is always delicious. So many restaurants on the coast don’t have to rely on repeat customers because of the abundance of tourists and as a result, standards slip. (The Adobe, I’m looking at you!) The Blue Whale, on the other hand, is a spot known and supported by locals and passers by alike. Long story short it is a genuinely excellent dining spot for good, consistent diner food. From breakfast to dinner it’s all excellent. I’ll definitely be back every time I’m in Yachats. Five stars, with no hesitation.

Nice and clean. Friendly service. Near Adobe Resorts. I really enjoyed the biscuits & gravy and cinnamon roll. The portions are small, egg omelet was cold. Skillet order...Small. One order(egg & pancakes) didn't get served till the rest were almost done eating. No compensation offered. Be advised...single restroom each (male & female). Limited parking by entrance; extra parking Across the main road. Lunch is Only served After 11:30...(even for children, no fries etc).
