Just a magical vacation with my grandkids!

Nice campground. Regarding beach access: Be aware that most of campground is up on a bluff, NOT on sand level, which means the beach is mostly accessed via one staircase just SE of the Lifeguard station, which is also up on the bluff (see map). I don't know why they don't state this fact anywhere on the map! On the other hand, the day use parking is more on sand level, so that is the 2nd beach access point. Knowing this, campsites 120's and mid 80's are the ones with shortest walk to the beach. Regarding the beach: there is naturally occurring tar in the sand, so if you have clean freaks in your group, pack baby wipes and some oil to remove tar spots from feet after a trip down to the water (or wear sandals).

Terrible restrooms, showers not in price included, dirty sanitary. Campsite okay. For 45$ expected more..

Extremely old dirty and under-equipped washrooms.

No Wifi and the closer to the beach you are the better the service
Yes
Very hard too. Tried to get for weeks. Especially if a group of friends are trying too get same days. Have to be on site at 8 on tje dot to be able to get spots
Yes. They have all types. From easy to difficult. Dirt to paved. There is a paved trail from El Capitan to Refugio for a nice bike ride with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. You can also go into the canyon across the 101 which provides more trails. ENJOY MY FAVORITE STATE PARK
Best to do online reservation 6 months in advance. However, according to CA parks website, El Capitan will be under construction starting in Sept.
No, Only shared water spickets with a spring loaded handle...and no dump station..
No, if anything all sites accommodate tents depending on how much room there is and I think 112 has enough flat space for one!
