A Miami staple, La Palma is totally worth the experience even if you don’t speak Spanish. Lol. Seriously, though, the food is authentically Cuban, the portions are decent and the prices super reasonable. This restaurant also has THE BEST churros and hot chocolate in Miami.

Good service and good food. It needs a little more variety of dishes that they have removed. Sautéed meat, fried sweet potato, breaded pork steak and sometimes the beer and other things run out and they don't bring it on time, I think the current administration is not the best.

Been eating here since I was a little kid. The food is great! The staff are always friendly and take care of all customers quickly. I will go out and say the best ham croquetas and churros is Miami can be found here! I live almost 3 hours away now and regularly drive down for croquetas and churros. Do yourself a favor and swing by and give them a try. You'll definitely be glad you did.

Agreed call General manager Oscar unfortunally hes not there all d time to oversee
Bad service, very slow, and the amount of food they put you in a complete is a joke, poorly prepared. I would like to see how they prepare it, as I asked one day to see how a dish is prepared at "La Carreta" on Calle 8 and I was very satisfied. Only that I had to give them less than 5 because the service has become very slow, but not because of the inability of the employees, but because of the number of people who go there, the restaurant is already too small for the clientele.
It's a shame that in that restaurant they already have such bad food!
I ordered at the window on the street. It needs a little decoration or something as where I was standing had an abandoned feel to it. My friend ordered churros, Aug 25th 4 for $2.16. in English and was understood LOL. AND The woman taking our order had a big smile the whole time. She also fried them herself and rang up our total. They were made from frozen ones. I like it better when they slide the churros shaper over the fryers and put the dough in to drop below... Which is what I wanted my partner from Maine to see. I wonder if they still do dough to fryer? But these were tasty, very sugary - they're not stingy there - and much better fried fresh then buying them some where - already fried sitting on some shelf. I'll keep going there. Some of the comments in Spanish say not as good as they used to be.. Well.. I say better then any others right now that I know of in Miami. ¡Churros y Chocolate!
The best of the best
We had a BIG group and they were GREAT!
Masks are mandatory, social distancing, all staff wear masks, tables are separated ...
