Great place to RV or tent camp. Showers were nice near the upper lot where the designated RV spots are. There is a paved trail along the cliff side that will take you to the beach. Nearest dump station is at the 76 station about 5 miles away. It is $7.50 to use the dump station. Overall, it is a gorgeous location to stay at.

Have you made reservations? You must make reservations ahead of time. Also its dry camping they provide showers and bathrooms, take quarters!
Will from what I could find on Google, it's $10 per vehicle up to 3.
As good as it gets for California
No problem! Especially on the beach
Go to Campsitephotos.com. You can see your actual campsite.
Depends on the night but most of the time it's filled up quick.. early reservations are best.. go to the site by 9:30 or 10 in the morning to see about first come first. Fees depend on camp or RV and spot but normally no more than about $35
I'm pretty sure they allow 2 per site. There are parking areas for other vehicles.
This is my go to! http://www.parks.ca.gov/pages/601/files/ElCapitanSBCampground060818.pdf
They used to, but no longer do. At the ranger station when you check in, they can give you places to go in Goleta and surrounding areas - they all charge a small fee. We just haul it home as we live near the Camping World in Valencia (by Magic Mountain), where we can dump for free. Typically a line though, as they only have one station open.
Camping can easily fill up on the weekends. Reservecalifornia.com is the only way to make reservations. I think it's $35/night. Once you have a reservation you can check in anytime.
Signs are clearly posted NO DOGS ON BEACH but on off season people do. I have taken mine down on the beach in the early morning before the sun rises to get a good run in, I have some awesome photos too, BUT, we take out for dogs for a walk first and pick up after them. It galls me to no end all the people that don't.
I tented it....my family goes every year...
I see surfers at every beach
For the people complaining, I guess it's how you look at things. I think it cool to hear the train come by. Yes.. racoons can steal your eggs but your own dog can steal from you...Just secure them items. Camp host is only doing thier job. If the camp host sees something wrong, he has to address it. I never had a problem there. I enjoy El Capitán.
Yes up to 32 ft I believe
I don't know about rvs but the cabins have electric outlets, they arent the best and some didn't work in our cabin but a few did.
I do not have the answer to that. I went with the group of people and was not involved in making any reservations. My apologies.
