I finished watching a concert and wanted Mediterranean food so I decided to try this place based on a few recommendations. The service was great but the food was mediocre at best. I ordered a gyro plate. The rice was very bland and the meat had no flavor and was kind of dry. The sauces also tasted quite plain. Maybe it was because it was closer to the end of the day? I normally get a gryo plate from Dametra in Monterey, CA when I visit and I have yet to find a place that compares. I tried Nick the Greek and it was decent but I wanted to try a local business. This one was a miss for me though.

We loved this place. The chicken in the chicken gyro is marinated, tasty and so tender. The beef and lamb gyro was quite good. Both come with a tzatziki like sauce. I would have liked them even better if they had come with onion. For dessert we had the kenefi. They bake it fresh when you order it and takes about 10-15 minutes - but it's worth the wait. We were also delighted to find they had kazandibi. It's very hard to find in the US. It's like a flan but it's really good. Highly recommended.
