We picked up a Meaner Bean trailer in Feb of 2022. In March we did the White Rim offroad Trail in Canyonlands National Park and I'm happy to report that the Bean Trailer made it the whole 100 miles in one piece. I have a few gripes though, First, there was no grommet in the hole that was drilled into the front box where the electrical wires come in from under the trailer. This is where the battery and trailer brake control box are located. A little protection from water and other elements would have been nice. Second, a strut on the rear Galley hatch ripped out of its mount, screws and all, when opening or closing the rear galley hatch. Seems like Bean could have reinforced this mount better. Now I'm left with trying to repair the fiberglass and retapping mounting holes.

We have owned our Meaner Bean since November 2021. We have camped in the snow and cold during this Montana winter. The camper is well insulated and warm. Sheds snow well. The propane fueledTruma Varioheat is efficient, quiet, and works every time. The quality of product and craftsmanship is the best I have seen in a camper yet. It is elegant yet rugged. The bed is comfortable. The cabinetry is solid and appealing. The Norcold compressor fridge is so easy and works well (I am never going back to propane fridges). The lithium battery has seeming limitless energy. The Expedition stove keeps the coffee water cooking even in the wind and cold. The articulating hitch makes towing behind our Toyota 4-runner almost too easy! The timbren axle-less suspension takes the rocks, snow, mud and washboard like a champ. Items barely move in the cabin during the ride. Anywhere my 4-runner can go, the Meaner Bean doesn't even consider a challenge. I couldn't be happier with our camper. The interaction with Cindy and the crew during the question asking, purchasing, and pick-up was remarkable. They truly are decent, wonderful humans. And they treat you as the same.

We love our bean trailer!! After about 6months of intense comparison of small rv trailers we kept coming back to the feature set and value that bean trailer provided. Although purchasing the bean sight unseen was filled with a bit of anxiety, bean helped that entire process through many email and phone calls. Now that we have our trailer and have tested it out on many camping adventures, we have been thoroughly impressed with the overall build quality of the bean trailer. We really love the bed and have slept extremely well in it (much better than in a tent, which is where we have come from!) even with our 80lb golden retriever on the bunk. Ventilation has been great with the max fan even in 80 degree weather! We love how easy bean is to tow, park and setup. We just cannot say enough good things about the quality product and wonderful customer service provided by Bean Trailer!
