Kid friendly. Water probably under clorinated. Well organized. Kuddos to young man lifegard at kids area. He would blow whistle at rule violators and go over and speak to them kindly...doing a great job.

Yes. Nice skate park with lots of beginner and intermediate level trick opportunities.
There is no beach at that location. Actually, there are no natural beaches in the Keys. That being said, hotels have their own man made beaches but many state parks are still recovering from Irma. Some county parks remained closed. Check online for closures for specific areas.
