My wife and I were staying in key largo for vacation and knew we wanted to do a kayak tour through the mangroves. Florida bay outfitters was close to our resort so we decided to book with them. Booking and check in was easy and everyone was so friendly. Our tour guide Jim was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area and able to answer any questions we had. We would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Great place to rent kayaks to take out especially if you are fishing while visiting. They have Hobie mirage compass models available for a decent price considering the location. Even If you don’t fish I’d recommend trying the hobie drive system it really is effortless. If fishing go north along the docks/rock and be prepared for a good Cuda bite. We worked our way north past the mangroves and it was great!!

We really enjoyed our guided kayaking with Suri in the John Pennekamp State Park. She was an excellent guide pointing us to a manatee we saw close up and fish and helping learn more about the mangroves.
