The ice cream here is really good. It was my first experience and wont be my last. The prices are decent but not great. However, I was impressed that you can still get a $1.50 ice cream here for kids. The alone will bring me back with my kids. I highly suggest checking this place out if you haven't been yet.

Rip Rap Roadhouse is decorated like a biker bar, and on many days it is one from driving by. Today it functioned as much as a place for people at the youth soccer games nearby to eat at afterwards, which is a cool thing to hit. The place is popular and was very busy, but it was a mixed experience for me. The way they seat people is more like you need to find a table on your own, and you just have to be quicker than everyone else there at finding the seat that just opened up. Managed to spot something early in the process, but a larger group may have issues. The place is cool once you’re seated, as long as being loud is fine (depends on my mood, personally). Service was decent for the most part, and the food is average to a bit above depending on what you get. Burgers seem to be a hit, and the Brazilian sausage is good. You could also end up getting the jambalaya, which seemed to be rice topped with a spicy gravy and some peppers and meat instead of it being all cooked together. It was decent, but not jambalaya. Would have given a 3.5 if that was possible on here, but I’m going with 3 since I had to pick one. Not somewhere I’d rush back to, but I’d like to give it another shot someday since there was enough here that I could see how people would go higher than this.

Good food, friendly service, good price. Just a few small things. The hot wheels were good but lightly loaded and the hog wheels where overflowing but there potatoes were undercooked. Everything else was very tasty and mostly cooked to order. This meal for four cost me what I've been paying recently for three and we all left full. We would surely consider this place again.

Yes
Nope. But lots of music and other events during the warmer months.
Paradise bar and grill just up the road. $1 beers till 7pm. They have pretty good food. 3243 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45414 Then go to bike night at RipRap. For a little bar hop. I don't recall Rip Rap having a happy hour.
There's no performance area in the restaurant or bar area. The outside is a possibility but rap does not seem to be the genre management would pick when looking for a gig.
It would be smart to call ahead and make sure but I would not guess it would be needed
Brunch on the weekends but other than that...no
7pm
