Update 9/7/2022: So, when using WiFi here the policy has started showing occasionally when connecting to WiFi. A statement within is, "...library staff cannot assist with technical assistance..." Which I already knew. This provides all that I need to about these happenings PBSO, or some as of yet unknown 3rd party. I would be surprised if the county is providing Wild West public WiFi with no encryption or active cyber security. Wouldn't that be providing a service that is inherently dangerous. Not so much as having the capacity, water has the capacity to be dangerous but is it inherently? So, to complete this update, much like the notice to use Wi-Fi, see beginning, this review does not pertain to any staff, they're actually pretty informative. Those policing this network should apologize for causing the location as a whole to receive one star. Something needs to be done about this. This is multiple county libraries. This seems like it is just me. Ferrari, dimension converter, some random website... Cyber harassment...

Truly one of the greatest libraries I've ever been to. Everyone there is super friendly, always willing to help. I love going to the library with my daughter and spending time building blocks playing with the bears or even dress-up they have lots of clothes toys dolls games anything you can imagine it's here. So thankful to everyone there!! #localguide #bookworm #daddydaughterday #PBCLibrary

Close your app then re-upload it.
Of course you would have to contact the library to see what their protocol is. I do happen to know that they accept donations of books but whether they accept DVDs or not is beyond my wisdom.
They haven't announced when they're going to reopen.
Everything has a price you'd have to ask, usually as long as you bring stuff back haha
You can download the pbc library app and do it from there, or call your library branch, or go in and request in person. The staff are usually really helpful!
Yes they are accessible but you have to wear a mask and seating is limited due to social distancing.
Most branches ate open on Sunday. For hours and locations visit www.pbclibrary.org
Yes. You just need to show photo ID from anywhere and something like a piece of mail, rental receipt, etc. With your name and the address where you're staying.
Yes.
Try checking the library's web catalog on their website or call them for availability of titles. If they don't own it, you can often request it through their Interlibrary Loan program.
The Main county library on Summit Blvd is temporarily closed for renovations til November. You could try 1 of our other branches in the mean time. Go on www.pbclibrary.org to find the closest location to you.
Yes
Each branch has guest computers for people that do not have a pbc library card.
Yes we do. You can pick up a copy of our monthly Happenings magazine at any library location. Also if you go to our website you can access the calendar there as well.
I don't think so
No. The Mandel Public Library is run by the city of West Palm Beach. All Palm Beach County Library locations are part of the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners.
If you know your PIN and card number, you can update it online through their self service portal or call any branch location with your card number and they will correct it for you. There is also a contact form on their website.
You can register for a library card online. It'll be ready for pickup the next day. You will need to bring photo-ID before they give you the card.
Several apps are available from the Palm Beach County Library System. You can manage your account and search the web catalog using the Palm Beach County Library app available for iOS and Android. There are also several apps for movies (hoopla), eBooks and audiobooks (hoopla, OverDrive, cloudlibrary, rb digital), music (hoopla, Freegal), and magazines (Flipster, rb digital).
