The food was really good. We had the crab cakes, fish tacos, a grilled cheese, and chicken tenders. Everything was so tasty, and flavorful. Highly recommend you check it out. Looks like a great place to hang out at the bar as well.

We ordered Big Mak and the taste was not good at all. The bun was dry as if it was 3 days old. The short rib sliders was average. Onion rings was the only good thing.

With Jason and Drew at the bar, you're a shooting star... at this place! Part of the whole Ambiance of this place is the bartenders! These guys are really cool oh, really chill, could talk to you about anything. You definitely feel welcome at this place. Happy Hour! It's all about the happy hour pricing, value, discount. Music... On Point! Some Madonna, Double Dutch Bus, Rumors, Mary Jane, old school hip hop. Love it! Fun factoid: Mak, was apparently the owner's nickname in school. So, I got the Big Mak today. The burger is delicious, juicy (get it medium or medium rare to taste the fresh beef flavor), and it's even got a little tangy flavor about. It was seasoned perfectly. Waaaaaaaay better than a Big Mack at... you know where. Honestly, this Mak burger at the Local Peasant is on par with 1 of the best burgers I've had ever. The sauce on the side is like a thousand island with a little kick to it. Also, there's a nice hint of garlic and onion flavor. It's good, get it! I opted for the thick cut fries, and wow, they are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. It's a nice crunch, followed by a satisfying mash feeling. The fries are great. Heck YES I will be back, with more friends too. Parking... schmarking. Walk, Uber, park 3 blocks away, carpool, it's worth it.

This was my second time dining at this location. I think I liked it better the the first time I dined here. It was a busy Saturday night so, it was to be expected for the crowds and the bar like seen than a restaurant. We sat in the back which appeared to be an add on addition, but they stored a lot of items, like kegs and propane tanks. Wasn’t a great look. We enjoyed the food, but pretty basic for the price. I was expecting something a bit more since it cost like $16 for a grilled cheese and tomato soup. I still like this place and would go again but would like to see coming on a more relaxed night maybe?

Yes, they have a salmon plate that is my go to when I'm there. Really good.
Hi, we don't have an outside area in sherman oaks - are you perhaps thinking of our woodland hills location?
