This was my first time staying at a Hilton hotel and from all the great things I’ve heard about this chain, I must say I was not impressed AT ALL. Not only did the staff consist of one very unfriendly man, but the room left so much more to be desired. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta South-Mcdonough, one of many hotels I had in mind but picked because I had heard they were so great. At almost 300 dollars a night I was expecting way more than the seemingly 100 dollar a night room that I got. Rusted and moldy bathtub, broken closet door, simple beds with pillows that needed four stacked to feel like they could even be considered a pillow, and that’s just to name a few. The entire building was at least 75 degrees or above making it miserable to walk around to enjoy what I thought were amenities such as the bar. There was one friendly bartender named Sabrina but that was the extent of the good experience. There was only one staff member that we saw our entire stay, no housekeeping was seen ever, we had to clean our room including putting trash outside and asking the person at the front to pick it up just to keep up with our room. No one asked if we needed fresh sheets, towels, ANYTHING. One of the things I was looking forward to the most was the indoor pool and hot tubs, seeing as how we were there for a wedding but also a much-needed vacation, this was something I made sure to look for in a hotel. This was probably the very worst pool I’ve ever been to in my life, to the point that we couldn’t even go in. Not only was it 100 degrees in there, but the smell of chlorine was unbearable, we couldn’t stay in that room for more than 30 seconds without feeling nauseous, so therefore we were unable to get to enjoy the ONE specific thing we had chosen this hotel for. We live in Orlando Florida and have always considered Westgate Lakes Resorts to be our go to hotels because even a suite with incredible staff and amenities is rarely close to what we paid for three days at this Hilton hotel. It was more than an underwhelming experience, one that I do not wish to ever repeat. I would appreciate someone reaching out to me in an attempt to fix what was meant to be and incredible vacation at the supposed amazing Hilton Hotels. I am extremely disappointed and embarrassed that it was me who chose this stay for myself and my closest friends.

Once we arrived to the hotel we noticed location was excellent because there were many store for shopping.. I would like to acknowledge front desk personnel Hannah and Daniel. Their customers service was excellent. Rooms were clean and house keepers had joyful attitudes. This made the atmosphere feel great. I also must mention Paula and Alicia working at the hotel bar/restaurant. Once again customer service was outstanding. To all the Chef's that worked 28APR-03MAY all of our meals were mouthwatering. I would like the management to please acknowledge these individuals for the way they representing your brand in a positive way.

The kind of place that nickel and dimes you to death. Breakfast included option is only for one breakfast, if there are 2 of you in the room, the 2nd has to pay an additional fee. Rooms are super noisy, was woken up both nights we stayed by what sounded like elephants above my head. In the morning it was slamming doors. I gave 2 stars because the beds are nice

Been a Diamond member for 5 years and travel 200+ days a year but the customer service of this hotel is likely going to have me go back to Marriott. I got to the hotel at 4PM to check-in. Charles and another gentlemen stated my room would be ready soon. 3 hours later I finally got my room. They never apologized and offered me any waters or even described when breakfast/dinner times. I got to my room and the bed wasn't made, trash all over and floor dirty. I went downstairs to see if I could change rooms and was told that's all we have. Unacceptable!! I was there for 9 days, every other day I requested to have new towels and trash taken out. My room was serviced a total of 1 time. Every time I went to the front desk, I would wait 10-15 minutes and then told they would send towels up but never happened. Noticed they would leave towels in the hallway for people to grab. Not a single positive experience here, stayed because it was close to my job site but if I have to go back, I'll stay somewhere else. Recommend anyone contemplating this hotel to stay somewhere else as well unless you want to be ignored and disrespected.
