I've been to the Drum and Quill many times for dinner and lunch. Mostly I've ordered food so I can't speak to the quality of the drinks. The burgers are excellent and so is the Reuben sandwich. They don't skimp on the meat. I will say the Reuben could use a little more cheese and sauce to finish it off perfectly. The house veggies are great and the potato salad is absolutely delicious. Well worth the price.

I had dinner nearby at the Pinehurst Brewery and wanted a dessert but they didn't have any. Went exploring and found this super cozy pub up the street. They had this lovely treat that hit the spot along w a good cup of coffee. I'll come back for sure for a meal.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. We ordered the BBQ nachos and it was a huge portion for the 2 of us. The Monte Cristo was very buttery and the raspberry sauce was perfect with it. I had to ask for another sauce, they don’t give you very much. To top it all off we did the Rum bread pudding it was good, but didn’t have a true custard like bread pudding consistency. We would definitely return again if in the area. The staff wasn’t as attentive and had to get her attention a couple of times.

We ordered a corned beef sandwich, after a few bites we discovered it wasn't corned beef, it was indeed roast beef. When questioned, the line cook told the server to tell us it was pastrami. It was NOT pastrami. We did not order roast beef nor did we order pastrami. We ordered corned beef. No need to lie about it. Never lie to a customer about the food you are serving them and certainly dont tell them that it's something else entirely. Period. But should you need to, save it for someone who doesn't know the difference. Also, microwaving cheese on a crock of onion soup doesn't make it French onion soup. It just makes it onion soup with microwaved cheese and the menu should reflect that. Lastly, the fried green tomato caprese was decent, and surprised me with a sprinkle of cilantro, which made my tastebuds sing, but it should be served with drizzled balsamic glaze, not a ramekin of cheap, below- grade balsamic. Also, red tomato was tasteless and mealy. Try this nonsense in Waffle House, not a dining establishment in the beautiful area of Pinehurst, where people have a more developed palette.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and returned here twice during my week long stay. All of the staff were very welcoming and the burgers delicious.
We have a five prong attack on Covid: 1. We monitor staff and customers temps upon entering 2. We have limited seating to half capacity inside 3. We mounted plexiglass in between practically every table, even bar seats 4. We sanitize every table, seat and menu after use. 5. We have heated outdoor seating both covered and in street parking for those more comfortable outside
No I don't think that can happen?
It's top secret
