This station has a low safe platform. The station has a police presence at night. Many bars and restaurants within walking distance.

The Farmingdale LIRR Station was fine. Very clean and a restroom on the premises. But a very inactive stop since Covid. In fact I thought I could get a cab at the station but they no longer go to that station . I had to walk in the freezing cold for a couple of blocks until I got to Starbucks and they were kind enough to give me a Taxi Service to get where I needed to go.
