Cute little park. The few campsites they have are not very private (maybe the north loop) but you can still have a nice and relaxing weekend. The lady ranger is very polite and does a fine job in keeping the park clean. Just make sure you have the right gear if you camp.

Such a beautiful place for an event! The setting is gorgeous. Everything that was within their power was handled.by the staff. The grounds and buildings were well kept. We could have used some mosquito for though..

What a beautiful park! Came here to attend the 242nd Newtown Battle Reenactment - How much fun! A great historical site and state park ... beautiful views, camping/cabins, playground, picnic areas, trails, and so much more!

It is west of the Catskills, along the northern border of pennsylvania. It is an area of rolling hills, not mountainous and lies on the Allegany Plateau.
If you just want to hang out there for the day it's free.
