We visit Densmore baseball park a lot for my son's baseball tournaments. We usually use fields 3 or 4. The park, fields, bleachers and facilities are clean and well maintained. The presence of a concession stand is a blessing as we always get something to cool us down during the games! The bleachers get hot on sunny days though and I'd love to see some shade installed on those bleachers that currently don't have any... During breaks, my wife and I love to take walks along the trails that surround the park and the surrounding areas. These walking trails are also very well maintained. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. Often times we see more senior and adult teams playing baseball in the other fields at Densmore. My son loves to watch them and he's always in awe! Parking is ample and the lots are well maintained as well. When returning home from a late game or a double header, it's very convenient for us to head to either Old Cheney or Pine Lake to get to restaurants for take-out food.

Nice, clean park and playground for both big and little kids. Restrooms could be better, but I'm just happy they have them on site.

Questions & Answers

Are there picnic tables by the playground?

Well, kind of...there are benches at the edge of the playground. The actual picnic tables are on the opposite side of the restrooms, under the picnic shelter roof. They aren't far, but you can't really see the playground from the picnic shelter. Kind of a bad design in my personal opinion...all they needed to do was put the restrooms on the other side of the shelter, then the playground would have been in sight.

I have no idea. Certainly you wouldn't be allowed on the playing fields.
