Beach LYFE Treasures
Checkout the website for activities at the different libraries around here. We showed up for a movie and had a fantastic time! My kiddo is excited about all the different books we can read together, there is a huge selection here. We will be coming by for story time and other arts and crafts activities as they are available. There are really cool adventure packs you can checkout too. You will find plenty of seating and table areas for learning activities, spacious and clean library! We will definitely be making this a regular on our homeschool journey. Follow me for more recommendations on places to go and make learning fun! 🥰🙏

It was clean and it seemed like (I haven't been to a library in years so I didn't know what others offer) it had a lot of interesting activities. It also (I didn't check bc my children are grown) but parents were picking up children from one of the rooms. Idk if it was a daycare or an activity class.

Site is immaculate. Overall atmosphere is welcoming and enjoyable to sit down and read or do research,there is a wonderful children's room designed to inspire young readers. They have a "Friends of the Library" section where you can buy books and DVDs for a minimal charge. I find this perfect for buying books to take to the beach to read and keep a mini library for house guests to read as well. The staff greet you and offer assistance when you come in. Always an enjoyable visit.

If you live, work, pay property taxes or attend school in Horry County you can get a free library card. If you are from out-of-state or a different county in South Carolina you can get a library card for a $10 fee. You can find identification requirements here: bit.ly/HCMLibraryCard

There are apps you can download to do this. But the library has so much more to offer. Go to the library and experience what it holds for you.
You could call the library and ask them if you can read their books on line. If you can't, I believe there is an app you can get.
