Why even have a phone number if no one answers the phone and there’s no way to talk to a live person?

Let me first start off by saying my experiences at License Plate Agencies have always been horrible. The representatives never show any concern and for the most part always have an attitude. I’m out of town on business and I had to renew my tags so I went to this location. When I walked in the door all I saw were smiles people willing and ready to service, but the main thing they wanted to HELP. My representative Ny’Lexzia McCollum was so helpful, polite and patient with me. Her smile the moment I got to her was so warm, friendly, and refreshing. There was a time I messed up on the keypad and she had to redo everything she quickly said it’s ok it happens and redid everything. She has changed the way I look and view NC License Plate Agencies. I’ll drive 2 hours every time to get an experience like that. Thank you for hiring and training good people that’s willing to help the community.

Terrible experience. The ladies are rude and deceptive to get as many of your pennies as possible. Don’t go here. And if you do go here, make sure your tag has a current inspection before arriving or they’ll force you into paying a temp tag before leaving. Make sure the tag isn’t expired or they’ll literally steal your tag (take it to the other side of the window and hold it up) and tell you it belongs to North Carolina and not you. I wanted to give the owner a receipt that I turned it in but they said no since it was expired. So I wanted to give him his tag back and was rudely told no, it belongs to North Carolina. Make sure you have your paperwork notarized for free by a bank before arriving or they will automatically charge you for notary fees without asking. I had my title notarized before arriving (I am the buyer), but was told I got fees because that notary (the one before I arrived) was only good for the seller and this place had to notarize for the buyer.
