I ONLY gave 2 stars because the ONE girl was the only worker without a rude demeanor and seemed to want to work. I used to take items to Plato’s all the time and never had a negative experience before I moved to Onslow County. I brought into the Jacksonville location two times items (American Eagle, Ralph Lauren, Express, etc.) that were brand new with tags and some that were in pristine condition only to be given back or offered $10-$12. I’m talking about items you can pull up right now on the brand’s site or walk into the stores and see them on display, so definitely in season/style. I took a pair of barely worn Nike Foamposites (over $200 pair of shoes) in like new condition and they tried to give me $11!! When you go through the busted DIRTY shoes they have for sale (for more than $11!) it’s an insult. I’d rather drive to Wilmington location (MUCH BETTER), or just give my items away to someone in need or sell them on Marketplace rather than get screwed over by this particular location.

They Literally waited til i left to send the notification that my items were ready and was sitting in the same area as where it was when i was waiting, which is extremely irritating and seemed like they did it on purpose cause someone could have definitely said something. I’ve been going here since i was 16 so going on 3 years, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had, the grown women with the purple hair had a nasty attitude and the only person who seemed helpful and wanted to be at work was the only minority. Just differently going down hills and hopefully they get new staff members with some decency.

They buy clothes on the daily, if you want to call ahead to have better input of what they might be mainly looking for, I suggest that as well. But they do take clothes all year round that are Teenage/ College style based. They also tend to keep up with ongoing trends that are often seen in the mall and other big name brand stores. They're happy to any other questions you may have if you're unsure about selling any clothes.
You could always give them a call as what they are looking for changes on a regular basis

No, you must browse and purchase in store. Each location will have different items.
I prefer brand name clothing but I do find lots of knock offs that are just as nice and easier on the wallet.
