My fiancé and I were referred to this firm by a very well-known, NC retired, attorney for his divorce. We originally, retained one attorney and paid in full for him 14 MONTHS ago at the initial consult (an attorney, I used in the past and trusted). Shortly after, he left the firm and we were appointed a new attorney. It has been a disaster every since. An easy divorce, no children, no properties, no spousal support, ex agreed to the divorce. Then, all of sudden the attorney does nothing. His ex is contacting me demanding the divorce papers that we don't even have because the last time she talked to the lawyer, she agreed to the divorce and thought it was under way. We have contacted the attorney may times via phone and email. Nothing, crickets in the backdrop. We've even contacted Kenneth one of the partners of the firm, to no avail....We've offered more money....Called the Clerk of Court, nothing has been done on this case since February. This is so sad, my fiancé is a hardworking man who doesn't make a lot of money, who saved to come up with this retainer, and doesn't deserve this. We are completely dismayed... WHY, I just want to know why????

Not a client but a friend of mine has retained their services, her original attorney went to another firm and the new attorney almost immediately told her that she, "the attorney" is a terrible e-mailer. I personally feel this was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Since then she, "my friend" has reached out several times to both the attorney and her paralegal. Zero response. Her custody case is up in the air, and the attorney seems like she couldn't care less. Extremely unprofessional. Do not recommend. Edit: friend had an appointment scheduled for today. Called to confirm the previous Friday. Monday comes. She arrives at scheduled time. Attorney is a no show. And she is informed that there are no more available dates to meet with her before her court date in a little over 2 weeks from now. This law firm is an absolute train wreck.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RETAIN THIS LAW FIRM!! JUSTIN MOULIN Bar ID: 53822 WAS PAID $5,000 for a FAMILY LAW case and he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR 6 months. Nothing was ever solved in either cases against Cynthia Cass Locklear office who I have filed a grievance against with the North Carolina State Bar Association for submitting false documents to Brunswick County Court house during a child custody case and Justin with King law firm never even bothered to ask for any of it to be thrown out or for her to be brought up on perjury along with her client. On today April 11th Justin Moulin motioned to withdraw from my case and only offered but never refunded me $1,000 back. Needless to say at 12 noon he was reported to the NC Bar association in Raleigh. If he wants to keep money then he need to keep $1,000 and give me back my $4,000 because I did way more work than what he did. Now if you seek a attorney who is a email warrior back & forth with you only that is then he’s definitely your guy!! But as far as him actually doing the leg work and putting in the time and preforming in the court room he’s DEFINITELY NOT your guy!! Now I’m going to the news paper, WWAY & WECT and whoever else I can talk to that will listen!! I have also filed a small claims case against him in New Hanover county!! ON GOD HIMSELF JUSTIN MOULIN IS A THEIF WHO STOLE FROM A MOTHER WITH CHILDREN and HE WILL DESERVE TO HAVE ALL THE ABSOLUTE WORST KARMA!!
