A veterinary clinic you can trust with the care of your precious four-legged loved ones.

Our toy rat terrier escaped her yard on a Friday afternoon around 3:30pm and was subsequently hit by a car. Needless to say my family was overwhelmed. We called our dog's vet but they were unable to see her. We have seen Five Oaks in passing for years now but never thought of swapping vets. In desperation we took our dog to them as they seemed open even minutes before 5pm on a Friday. They rushed our little dog right back to an examination room where Dr. Holly Capps saw her immediately and quickly moved forward with X-rays to observe the most immediate damage. After they determined the issue Dr. Capps recommended us to a 24/7 animal hospital in Wilson and even called ahead so they would be expecting us. Now with a recovering little family pet, I can't say enough good things about Dr. Capps or the team at Five Oaks. They were so caring and so accommodating. We have switched vets now to them and couldn't be happier. I HIGHLY recommend the services at Five Oaks!

Very happy with my Five Oaks experience. Took my dog for her yearly check up. Thorough and affordable. Will be a long term client with my pets

15 dollars a day
The emergency number should be on the top of a receipt/invoice from five oaks.
They tend to be reasonable, but costs can vary. Call them and ask. I can say they are very good there.
The cost of neutering a male cat is roughly $80 with pain meds, female will range to $125 with pain meds, we do accept the vouchers sold by Second Chances on Vernon Ave. Rabies is required to stay at the hospital, $15 for the vaccine if needed
When you get their first shots and meds and visit you should pay less than any other vet around, less than$100 call them and ask you'll be pleasantly surprised 🙀
Yes I'm sure as five oaks does calls to homes on livestock so I'm sure would for several pets
To stay at the hospital, rabies is required which is $15. For a complete estimate please call the office to speak with a receptionist.
This is a great question to call the office with due to various requirements. We do require to be up to date on vaccines. There is an option to have a small panel of bloodwork performed depending on age. And the option of pain medication, which we highly recommend. If you plan for under $200, it would include all optional medications and bloodwork. We can go over all the options and associated cost when you call or you can stop by for an estimate with our receptionist. Thank you!
Yes, they must be up to date on all of their shots to be spayed.
