Best food we had in Dearborn! We debated on stopping, but WOW! so glad that we did. Great service, food, and atmosphere. Even picked up a couple of T-shirts. Will definitely be back again in the future. 5 stars all the way.

This place was so unique and fun! We came in on a Satursay so there was about a 30 minute wait for a group of 3 which we didn't mind. The atmosphere was amazing. Everything is set up to be like a old car garage. They don't skimp on the details at all. Waitress was very attentive. We got our food pretty quickly even with how busy they were. My son got the kids fish dinner. My husband got the Sweet Heat Burger and I got the Brisket burnt ends melt and all of it was amazing!

It's as though you have stepped back in time... The time of the pàst world of the Ford Motor Company with wondrous decor and attractions that you have to see to believe! They have a great menu and the food is delicious! From the appetizers to the burgers and other menu items, it is well worth it to visit Ford's Garage for a meal you'll never forget! A very clean restaurant with friendly, attentive staff. I can't wait to go back!

The cherry sour beer is amazing! Crisp and refreshing. Atmosphere was very fun and unique set up. Great place to hang out or watch sports games. The brisket sandwich was too saucy with cheese otherwise it would have been great. The wings are delicious but caution with the spicy ones as they pack an afterthought punch. Overall will definitely come back and recommend.

Yes, it is open until 6 in the morning and there is a children's section until 12:30 at night and there are also games for both children and adults.
Average hamburger about $12-$16. Went to Red Robin the other day and Ford's Garage was waaaayyyy better and about the same price.
Yes there is a kids menu on the back of the regular menu.
They will not start taking reservations until November. If you're going at a busy time, you can expect to wait about 45 minutes to an hour.
Call and ask. Your gonna have to call to make the reservation if they do anyways.

The whole place is so much fun. I dont think any table would be bad.
Yes they do sell them. There is a section on their website listing them them.
Yes, they sell gift cards.
Yes! I was at a private party there last night, and there was about 50 people in the room.
Lots and lots of beers, not sure I would categorize bud lite and miller lite as real beer though. 😀
Yes
Yes they have outdoor seating and they do leave the garage doors open.
No
they have moveable tables so party size shouldn't be a problem. Though I'm not sure of capacity.
If you want to do it onlineyou can go to www.Ford'sGarageusa.com/careers
I would definitely say yes for lunchtime. They do have a full bar & all, but when I've been there at lunch, there have only been a couple people sitting AT the bar, & I've never seen any loud or really drunk - so I don't think you need to worry about that aspect of things. I've also never noticed a loud & boisterous group, even on game days. With kids, the only issue I can think of is the loud music. Each time I've been, most of my group thought it was a little louder than it should be for lunchtime - once, we asked our waitress if it was at all possible to turn down the volume... she rolled her eyes said, "I wish! This is how 'they' want the volume set, so that's what we're stuck with!" It's not crazy loud or anything - we could hear each other, though we did have to speak a little louder sometimes. Well, now that I've rambled... my point is that, depending on your kids and their ages, the volume might bother them. OR they might love it!! My opinion: DEFINITELY GO!!

The service is really good here. You can call and ask about the crowd but even on a bad day things move pretty fast. Love this restaurant.
I was there on a Sunday for dinner. It was packed for dinner. Many families. Very interesting decor. I would say YES kid friendly! Good service and food
Reservations are not required, but are recommended if you have a large group or on a set time to get in and out.
I personally don't know, you would need to call to find out.
Hmmmm dont know Sorry. We live Boston and just walked in
Family had burgers, they were ecxellent.. table next to us had a steak, looked really good and heard guy say it was awesome.. hope that helps..
Swap out the beef in any burger for a portabella mushroom.
You can bring cake in from a bakery not home.
Yes they do i recommend you do that , it cutts down on wait time
They won't take reservation without large party. Crowds build after 5:30pm. Wait times vary 15-30 minutes. But remember - the line is long because the line moves fast. Nobody will stick around a bad spot. There are many interesting historical items on display to absorb your time & attention. Worth the wait. Special note: The local chef maintains a separate gluten free menu alternative. Must ask - several good ideas which my gluten free guests have enjoyed. Enjoy!
For the birthday person
Burgers, mac and cheese, salads, sandwiches, and they have a bar. I believe a full menu is available on their website
No it's not Ford family owned. It's a chain with most locations in Florida.
