I’ve been trying to test drive a GMC 1500 with the 3.0L Diesel engine. I called this morning and spoke to two different people in their sales department. I told them I was looking for one with a bench seat up front so the vehicle could fit my family of 6. They said they have one that seats 5. I said I’d like to come in to test drive that vehicle. They told me I cannot come in to test drive the truck. I’ve never had a dealership tell me to not come in and test drive a vehicle. They said only people who are interested in a 5 seater would be eligible to test drive it. They said I could order one with a bench seat and when it comes in I could test drive it. How would I know if I even like this truck with the 3.0L engine if I don’t find one to test drive first. I’ve never driven a GMC truck, ever. Why would I order something I’m not sure I I even want. Worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. I will be telling everyone I know not to go to Roseville GMC/Buick. They’ve lost my business for sure.
