Lack of customer service. Wait times are usually longer than what the state asks for an application for CalFresh to be verified. I have some homeless folks in Merced that needs help but HSA takes is sweet little time on the calls and also the way it processes their clients.

If you are Homeless or in need of local assistance for Housing, Food to eat or cash aid. It is the place to Go. The eligibility workers are both friendly and take the time to work with those of us who have no where else to turn.

You may have to call the main number, press 0 for the receptionist and see if they are offering free Bus passes
You can actally do it on line but if you go to the wardrobe agency in Merced just take a number have your cal fresh # ready and they will transfer you over that day.
You can actually do it online..but yes. 2115 Wardrobe Ave is where to go to do the transfer...it's fairly simple
