I was able to street park, but there wasn't a whole lot of that.
I went the same day as the WWII musuem. It took about 1 hour to go thru. Its smaller then most museums but well displayed and packed in without feeling crammed. I believe the building was a old church. If you watch American Pickers they did a episode about it. You can get a glimpse on that show. I enjoyed it . If your vacationing in NOLA you have to go to the WWII MUSUEM as well. We compared it to a Universal Studios theme park experience . Everyone is impressed with it.
No storage in the museum. It's fairly small and compact with a ton of artifacts.
