I am a newbie to beehives. Mike beehives is a fantastic place to acquire all the equipment you need. Ed is an incredibly great teacher as well. We took the class from him and learned a lot in the shortest possible. Of time. He's also been available to us in an emergency over the phone. I cannot recommend this business better. Husband and wife team that owns it love what they do and clearly loved customer service.

Not a friendly place. I paid for bees on Ebay and Mike didn't honor the transaction.

Mike runs a first class operation and is very responsive to customer requests. If you need bees, tools, woodware, or anything related to beekeeping mike is your guy

Sometimes they just don't want to be where they are. I may have extra next Saturday
If you can see the hive, it is not honeybees. It sounds like the hive is a greyish paper nest, so it is wasps or hornets. No one will want them.
