Best sandwich I've ever had.π
Veronica Baker
This establishment has been in business since 1969, a SLO landmark deli. It serves tasty sandwiches, homemade chili, huge salads and side pasta, potato, macaroni salads. It also offers a variety of chips and drinks along with their delicious homemade brownies and chocolate chip cookies. The location is great with plenty of parking. If you are looking for fresh, huge tasty sandwiches with a local SLO vibe, this is the place. βπΌπππ!! My fave are the ATC, Bens California and hands down the ultimate B.L.T π

First thing said to me was Alluh akbar which I didnβt feel comfortable about and there was too much bread compared to the rest of the sandwich
Tierra Tomlyn
The food was meh but it was at least a big sandwich.

It opened as Ben Franklin's, sold 2 times since 1970, And remains the same. I helped paint the building when it was first started. Heugh Slayden did all the artwork, and Jerry Grantham built all the wooden tables that have Heugh Slaydons artwork covered in varathane, 8 coats all block sanded and buffed out so the surface is thick and flat.
