They don't want to help if you are not American.

I've had some requests about this myself. I hope they make an announcement soon either way
I don't work there but have made donations of clothing but I'm sure they except more than clothing. On the other hand I know St. Joseph's Storehouse in Baker or Baton Rouge will take them
St. Vincent de Paul operates shelters for single men, single woman, and families. We provide shelter every day of the year. All services are completely free. To request shelter, please go to 1623 Convention Street, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Shelter is given on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is a good idea to request shelter in the morning, to ensure that there is a space available. Requirements for shelter are that the person is experiencing homelessness, and all adults can perform all ADL's (showering, dressing, eating, etc.) on their own.
I have only been involved with dinner, which is at 6 PM, not sure that they serve breakfast or lunch...
Call 211 to get a appointment for taxes to be done
St. Vincent de Paul is a great place to organize your life back to the way it should be they have clothing vouchers a shelter and a lot of other things as well
Currently, we are unable to deliver food directly. However, we have a location at 220 St. Vincent de Paul Place, Baton Rouge 70802 that serves a hot meal every day of the year from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. We have also partnered with St. Gerard 5354 Plank Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70805 and serve a meal every - Tuesday and Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm at Seelos Hall.

Yes, our St. Vincent de Paul Dining Room is open 365 days a year. We serve lunch from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm everyday of the year.
I don't have one, CVS pharmacy sells them for $151. And some change call first some stores may not have them but I called the one on highland and they have one.
Thank you for your question. We serve 365 days a year at 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at our St. Vincent de Paul Dining Room located at 220 St. Vincent de Paul Place, Baton Rouge, LA 70821. In addition to the hot meal provided, a simple brown bag supper to go is available as well. Thanks to the wonderful support of volunteers and our community, we alleviated hunger last year by serving over 280,000 meals.
You will need to go to the one stop across the street from St Vincent De Paul and get a letter stating that you are homeless then bring that to the shelter.....you cannot get in without that letter....you will bring it to a man named Mr Carl...he will then place you in the shelter if there is a bed available... do this quickly because if you don't get that letter and turn it in before four o'clock you will miss out and have to come back the next business day
