The out-sourced/contracted CNAs that actually took care of my mother when I asked for their help- were great and so were the women who worked the front desk. Bless those women. Unfortunately the quality of care (myself and others have witnessed ) -offered by the CNAs/attending nurses employed by the institution of River Glenn is not to a degree where I'd earnestly recommend their services.

I've had to spend some time in a short - term rehab wing to recover from a few various procedures the past few years... River Glen is one of the best & if anything is needed to be done in the future I will return!! I've already been there twice... And it's staff is great!!

Our 80-year-old mother spent three weeks at River Glen during her recovery from a broken hip back in August. We were very pleased with the care she was given and believe the rehabilitation she received in those early days after surgery have set her on a path toward a full recovery. River Glen was especially accommodating in light of circumstances involving COVID-19 and the ensuing variant, which forced the facility to restrict visitations. River Glen is known for its professional care and its tireless efforts to keep its patients busy and their minds occupied. Due to a rise in COVID in the community toward the end of summer, entertainment and other group activities had to be put on hold. Nevertheless, the facility did its best to make my mother’s time there as enjoyable as possible. She commented on how good the food was and was pleased with the compassionate care she was given. River Glen is located close to my home in Southbury and I advocated for our mother to go there with my siblings. It was a good decision. Thank you River Glen!
