Got a personal letter from Route 9 Mazda last week offering me a certain amount for my 2019 CX-5 (which I bought from them) and an additional amount if I showed up on Saturday. I showed up on Saturday. They would not honor the additional amount. Seems like bait and switch to me. Not a nice way to treat a loyal customer.

Walked in off the street looking for a CPO car. Inquired about a few on the lot and settled on one after getting a fair price. After that is where the experience turned ugly. Salesman told me about the financing they offered and I explained to him that I am going to my own financial institution for a loan. He stated that whatever terms my bank offers they can offer same. I never trusted car sales people so I felt that I needed to inquire at my bank. We got approved, and made arrangements with dealer to get the car about a week later. The day of pickup, sitting with the dealer " finance guy" I noticed on the sales invoice that they added $500 as "dealer fee". I questioned it and was told that because I did not finance the car through them, they must charge this fee. Ridiculous. Was never told prior to this. After arguing with them and nearly walking away, he agreed to waive the $500. Buyer beware. In the end we get car delivery and noticed that the vehicle did not include any floor mat's and they gave us only one key FOB. Really? Car came off of a lease with no mats and only one FOB? We were told that we had to pay for these items totaling well over $400. Never again. We own 3 Mazdas and love the cars but future purchases will be anywhere else.
