I came in for a post-op issue resulting from recent knee surgery, and was treated very well in admitting. The triage nurses were very thorough and patient while I explained my symptoms. Nurse Josh attended to me and was very professional and made me feel at ease. PA - Josh was next to see me and he explained what tests they were doing and what exams needed to be performed. The test results showed no serious conditions and they were then able to proceed. My wife and I were both relieved and appreciative of the care I received. Thanks to all involved.

Christine from Respiratory was awesome!! Very nice lady and super cool. She made my son and I very comfortable. While demonstrating how to properly use our new chambers for our inhalers, she made it super fun and even had us laughing the entire time. She has the best personality and is very good at her job! We loved her!! 💗😎

Yesterday I had awesome ER staff to care for me. Starting with Nurse Greg AWESOME, ATTENTIVE, KNOWLEDGEABLE. I then met Dr. Jason who is very COMFORTING, EXPLAINED IN DETAIL WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH ME. THE LADIES in CT who were very THOUGHTFUL and CARING Before During and After my CT SCAN. Even the ride to/from CT SCAN was careful. My room was VERY CLEAN and COMFORTABLE. Kristen was very POLITE when she came in to update my personal information. As I was in serious pain these important things stuck out to me. Which contributed to my comfort and care. Thank You

I attended the emergency room yesterday for a post-partum complication. I was so nervous to be at the ER with our current pandemic. I could not have been treated better. My care was fast but not rushed. The staff was attentive and caring. I ended up needing an emergency surgery and could not have been made to feel more comfortable by the providers and staff. Thank you ED staff for making an awful situation tolerable.

Ascension | Sep 5, 2021

Respiratory Syncytial Virus, or RSV, may appear like a bad cold to adults. For infants or young children, RSV can cause bronchiolitis -- a virus which causes swelling and an increase in mucus in the airway. This can cause difficulty breathing through their nose and eventually dehydration due to difficulty latching to the breast or bottle for infants. Other symptoms of RSV may include a fever or a very wet sounding cough, which can turn into coughing fits. Those coughing fits can cause a child to gag and potentially vomit.

When you need care more immediately and your regular doctor isn’t available, you may be trying to decide between urgent care or an emergency room. For life-threatening emergencies and serious illness or injury, such as shortness of breath, chest pain, open fractures or severe bleeding, go to an emergency room. When you need care for minor illness or injury, such as allergies, fevers, cuts without severe bleeding that may need stitches or a severe sore throat, and your doctor isn’t available, seek urgent care. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, go directly to the ER or dial 9-1-1. Don’t delay getting the care you need.
