Probably the best experiences I’ve had in terms of visiting the doctor. PHC and the staff are always pleasant and respectful, the appointment process is smooth, and my two docs (Dr. Balon and Dr. Wright respectively) are amazing! If they are indication of the rest of the team here you are in good hands. Not only did they discuss the course of action regarding my situation with me, they also ASKED me how I felt and what I wanted to do. Never have I ever had a doctor actually consider my opinion in a treatment/action taken at the doc office. Don’t get me wrong, they are the professionals and know what they are doing, but they actually considered the fact that I’m a person with a life, job, and responsibilities that may be affected by their decisions on what to do. Also, thank you to my two docs specifically, they could’ve easily just ordered and MRI and x-Ray and stabbed my hand with a cortisone shot, but considered the fact that that would cost me nearly $2k/unnecessary pain and we will start with a more conservative plan. The amount of times I’ve felt like a science project to doctors is definitely the usual for me, but my experience at PHC has changed that.
