This is a Marriott property which is at best on par with others in the area and region. Somehow management has a belief that they should only offer access to the lounge until 10:00AM for breakfast, while closing st 1:00PM M-Th. BUSINESS TREVELERS AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Until they offer global options like their peer properties in places like Hong Kong, Bogota, Washington and Lisbon, avoid this location and stay at the Courtyard since that's the same level of service you'll receive. Save money and points, don't let the Marriott paradigm screw you out of your benefits.

The Renaissance suited our needs well. Very close to a concert venue. Speedy check in and check out. Spacious, clean room. We will stay there again.

Beautiful hotel. Great view of Fish Pier and Boston Harbor from 18th floor. Knowledgeable concierge and very helpful Bellmen assisted in hailing or calling taxis and advising us on walkability of various restaurants.

Can't beat the location and atmosphere of this high rise luxury hotel. Walk the waterfront and stop at Tatte for breakfast, or Ocean Prime for dinner.

I think 3pm but the hotel is so accommodating, they will get you in earlier if possible. Stayed here several times. Excellent staff
Or you can go to Faneuil Hall Quincy marketplace there's tons of stores there
Its extremely easy to get to downtown. The silver line is a short walk away and that will take you to South Station.
There is one 400 feet away on Northern Ave. There is another by the aquarium one mile away.

No. I was a local. I drove from New York city. But I am sure the hotel would arrange a taxi service for you. Uber is the cheapest taxi service these days...hint..free Ad for Uber. Lol.
There's one about a fifteen minute walk up seaport Blvd in the same building as King's Dining and Entertainment, I believe it's called ShowPlace ICON Boston. A lot of good quick places to grab a bite on the way as well.

Parking facility next block to the right when you exit from the hotel lobby, same building as Legal Test Kitchen. It's the closest and reasonable rates.
