ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BEACH/PARK π―π―Pick up any trash that you have, be kind to everyone walking along the beach, share the trails with other riders, and make sure your out of the gates before they close them. The guy who lives on site and is the gate keeper is a super rad dude and had to open the gate for me after recovering a stuck vehicle and he was cool about it. βββββ

There's a nice little beach with barely any waves for the kids. There's sand dunes and obstacle course for those who like four wheeling. The sand can get a little hot when it's not foggy and the sun is out. We only spent time at the beach, in which case you'll be better with an umbrella or beach tent.

Cool place to take the family, buddies for ATVs , watch the wave or sunsets. Lots of room for the dog to run around. There are benches, trees and sandy coves. Check it out.

Is there any primitive camp around Samoa Dunes?
Absolutely
Outside the park there is a camping area you pass on your way in
It depends on what you consider nearby. Samoa Cookhouse is close and Eureka is several miles away.
Probably not
Not really , just be careful not to get caught
Redtailed perch are running....and yes crab season is open....but closees on the 24th of july i believe.
The beach wouldn't be good for wheel chairs, but there is an area with pic nic tables, parking and bbq's that is gravel/paved that would be negotiable in a chair.
Sure can
I would say it depends on what you're fishing for. I've caught rock cod off the north and south jetty. Have seen people get lings from south. Though personally it is a pain in the butt due to all the rigs I've lost out there.
