My husband was moved here because the state closed the other facility. Our experience has been interesting. They saw his FL2 and then after were there a week told me I would need to move him and I was upset by that then he got covid and went into quarantine for 10days. Then recently he had a 9 day stay in intensive care not due to anything from the home though. I was very thankful they held his bed where most make you pay the veterans covered it for max of 10 days. Then they took him back without any problems from the hospital so I am hoping now they understand he is skilled no doubt. The only things he doesn't like semi pvt room they have one TV for both people and they would not allow him to bring his wireless TV that would just need a plug ,to the home nor his shelves from the other place and he couldn't have his fish that he had at the other place. He tells me they take better care and the food is better and larger portions. He has great nurses upstairs. The TV situation is a big downfall especially if the roommate hogs the TV, there should be two in the semi private rooms. The other is the phone coverage after 8 it's hard to get the phone answered . Last thing is communication isn't the best it could be improved , but that's in alot of places these days. Over all this facility is an A + and I have been on both sides of the fence working in nursing homes for several years in different administrative positions.
