It was a huge waste of time! I asked the owner if she had women’s bridal suits at a bridal show and she pulled out her phone and showed me one. I agreed to set a fitting appointment to see if I liked it on. After driving 1.5 hours for this appointment she didn’t have the suit or any women’s suit in the store. She had me try on a jumpsuit and a dress explaining they needed to see how the designer’s styles looked on me. They were terrible! Through just talking casually with her, I found out she could have paid a $50 borrow charge to get the suit there for my fitting appointment so I could try it on and see if it would work or not. She also hinted that I would need to pay the $50 designer borrow fee and it could go towards my purchase, but conveniently left out what would happen if I decided it wasn’t the right bridal suit for me. She also expected me to come back to try it when it arrived. The suit was basic and WAY overpriced when she finally told me the price! Don’t waste your time!

I had such a wonderful experience with the ladies at English's! They were so attentive and helpful. Of course I said yes to a dress there. Prices are great, and they take care of any alterations you may need. I definitely suggest you go!

Nina and her staff at English's are so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and non-judgmental. I went to quite a few bridal shops, and although I ended up purchasing a bridal gown somewhere else (it was an annual sample sale where I found a gorgeous dress at an extremely good price), I had the best experience at English's, and liked the most gowns at English's. I found their gowns to be the most affordable while also being stunning. I can't overstate how kind and helpful Nina, her sister Ally, their mom, and other staff were. I will definitely visit English's first if I am in future need of a formal dress, and encourage all in search of a prom dress, wedding gown, etc. to visit English's! I can tell they are big supporters of the community, and are a very inclusive business (which is very important to me and hopefully important to others, as well!).

Getting a wedding dress was one of the most important parts of my wedding (second only to finding a groom of course!). I have loved wedding dresses all my life, and I love them all!! So it was exciting to finally get to choose one, but also overwhelming because I love every single one of them! I only had a 5 month engagement and some people turned their noses up and said I didn’t have time. I was scrambling to find places to go. I happened upon English Bridal by chance one day. I didn’t have an appointment but they said I could come in, and they even stayed open late! I was pretty bummed because I didn’t have my bridal party with me, but everyone there ended up feeling like my best friend! They were so nice and fun and encouraging. They picked out dresses I never would have chosen on my own, and I’m so glad they did, because I loved them! They were so attentive and fun, and the store is gorgeous! It’s such a big mirror you get to stand in front of and you feel like a princess. I absolutely recommend that you go here, and to listen to their advice and try some dresses outside of what you may have picked. I just wish I had more reasons to buy wedding dresses because I would totally go back!
