Since moving from D..C. It’s been hard finding lakes with bike trails or trails that’s by a lake. Kernersville lake is a place you can get some peace of mind. I even had a small picnic with my dog Jagger ( yes it’s dog friendly ). They also have grills & tables if you wanted to throw a small party. Let’s not leave out paddle boats for rent.

The nature trail is the only one that I’ve seen. It goes through the forest and come out near the volleyball court on top of the hill. It’s not a long trail,maybe .25 of a mile

Sorry to hear about your phone. In my opinion , it is gone Phone are not magnetic , so you can't use a magnet to retrieve it. Swimming is a no no. And least but not least, phones and water don't mix. ☹️

You cant swim but you certainly can paddle boat. Very nice park. Have had several family picnics there.
