I just wanted to thank Dr. Christal Duncan and staff, Dr. Ricardo Noble, and the entire staff of Fairchild Medical Center Med Surg unit on the excellent care I received throughout my visits there. I felt genuinely cared for and listened to. The nursing staff on Med Surg was amazing! It was the first time in my life I have ever stayed in a hospital for anything other than being born and I am eternally grateful for all of you. Excellent team work across the board and I feel amazing in my recovery. I appreciate the best health care close to home!!! Thank you all.

I was in the ER because of severe side effects of a medication I had just started. I sat in the lobby for over 2 hours unable to breathe and constantly throwing up to the point where I literally had an accident in the lobby. I was dizzy, I was struggling to breathe, and all they said was "well, we are busy" without even checking my vitals. I ended up leaving and risking the drive to another hospital where I received better treatment with friendlier staff. While I was there, there was another patient who was upset and extremely emotional about not being able to see his girlfriend when she had harmed herself. Instead of the nurses being understanding and being calm with the gentleman, the nurse literally said "maybe she shouldn't have tried to kill herself then you would be able to see her". I was so appalled that I asked for a complaint form and I was denied because I was "not directly involved" in the situation. I would rather die than go to this ER.

Our emergency room visit was great. The best that I've experienced to be honest. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the ER experience, if not I'd give zero stars because it has been a nightmare trying to schedule follow up appointments. They don't typically answer so I've left at least 5 messages for call backs. One for a supervisor. I did receive call backs however each and every person told me I needed to call insurance for some special authorization and insurance doesn't know what the heck they're talking about. The ER people told us it was imperative to get the follow up appointments as they're necessary but Ithen I literally cannot schedule them so 🙃. Super great experience... UPDATE! Thank god they have the manager there. I added another star just for her help. She was able to let me know what was going on and why and what my options are. Thank goodness they have her there. I was getting rather sad and confused on the sitution. Many many many thanks to her.
