Fabulous kayaking. So beautiful! Go right and you go along a windy skinning part of the river. It takes you under the historic Brice Park bridge. Farther down is the very busy and loud 195 bridge, which kind of ruins the beauty you are paddling on. Further on it's much quieter. We almost made it to Hospital Rd but it was blocked by a fallen tree. What a great adventure! Go left and you head to the marina and more open waterway with stunning reeds winding you towards the wider part of the Manasquan River and much more wildlife! Be careful of rising tides when you park!

Nice little spot for Trout fishing when trout is stocked. Parking right next to the stream where you can fish.

Questions & Answers

Hurt groundhog by my house. Still alive but barely moving. Blood on its back but looking up at me. Where can I bring it?

Either by phone book or internet search, Find your closest wildlife rehabilitation center or specialist and contact them directly. The Manasquan WMA is an area of land managed by the state for purpose of preserving the land so the wildlife habitat remains undisturbed. It is not a rescue organization, and it has no facilities whatsoever.

Agreed, don't even peek, mama is probably nearby. If the baby is still there in the morning, you can call animal control, they will get the right person there to care for the baby.
