Beautiful park to just enjoy the scenery. The spillway is a nice place to sit by. The white noise from it makes it easy to relax. The gnats make it very difficult, though.

Very nice for a picnic and swings available for older children and adults. I also saw 2 ducks on the bank. Covered picnic tables with small grills available and plenty of parking.

Beautiful Park!! Short enough for the kids to walk.

The river/lake/pond whatever it is, is beautiful!

Fishing is allowed. Just not in the areas where there are signs. Other than that, it's fine
Yes they have stocked the pond but fishing is not allowed.
I dunno. Sign says no swimming, but I don't think dogs can read. And anyone who complains about swimming at a public body of water, should go back to the nursing home to feed pigeons. Besides, Gibson pond is part of 12 mile creek, and is a public body of water...
Not yet open but should be soon, there hasnt been an actual date yet announced for the reopening to my knowledge. The dam and bridge appears to be done and from what i understand the rest of the construction was cleanup and refurbishment of the shelters and amenities
Yes, it is open during daylight hours.
Not specifically. There's a concrete walkway that winds around through the woods. If you want a bike trail try 14 mile Creek Park on North Lake @ Old Cherokee. (The entrance and parking is at the Exxon station)
Great point! However, that is something that needs to be brought to the attention of the Lexington Town Manager and/or the Town Counsel.
You could jog(walk) the trail if you like. It makes a circle.
It is a public place, i think it's free.
I know you can use the video or but I dont know about lights
They don't, the water Fidel left there when the dam broke.
