The zoo is small with only a one mile winding walking path and a limited selection of animals but it's cheap, well maintained and has ample shade and a great playground right outside. Located in the heart of downtown. A great stop for younger kids after school.

First time visiting this zoo and I loved it. Lots to see and perfectly sized. Was able to walk the entire park and see everything without getting exhausted like most big zoos! Loved it.
No, pets are not allowed in the zoo. This is the reason. The barking would stress out the zoo animals. And dogs would be a natural enemy for them causing stress too
You don't have to wear a mask 65+ is $10 and they recommend buying your ticket online to guarantee you get in or wait in line but it's definitely worth it either way!!!
It's online only but we didn't know that and went there had to go online still but were able to get tickets for that day and time
Took us less than ten mins to get them
yes. you must purchae ticket, and choose time slot for entry, ONLINE.
social distancing guidelines are in place. and masks are required on zoo premises.
No not a single ride. There is a reptile house, a park with a playground and a few statues of animals.

It's worth it if you care about the animals being cared for properly, but as an attraction it cost me $26 for two adults and two children, one was young enough to get in free. Just go and decide for yourself. My two young Grandchildren had a wonderful time and we made some fun memories. So...in the end,yes it was worth it because they enjoyed it so much, me...I didn't enjoy the zoo but the kids loved it,and I loved that.
They don't have rentals of any kind, scooter, wheel chair, stroller, etc. But the zoo is fairly small. My fitness tracker says I walk about 1 mile from entering to exiting (Im a member so I go frequently with my daughter). They do offer plenty of benches and two picnic areas to stop and rest if you need to.
The animals here seemed happier and more active than any other zoo we've been to and the volunteers were very knowledgeable. Just goats to pet/feed and a place to feed waterfowl. We were there about 4 hours and everyone (aged 10-40 in our group) had a great time and learned something new.
