Nonprofit farm dating back to the 1770's. Organic produce grown and all work is done by volunteers. The produce is donated to the Rhode Island food bank and they also have a small produce stand. Companies go there to contribute labor and ours was there today. Harvesting, tying up tomato plants, pulling weeds - whatever was needed. Volunteer staff there is very knowledgeable. Worked a 1/2 day felt good to be outside rather than at my desk.

Today was Soil Science, class 6 of the Spring Backyard Farmer Series for kids at Franklin Farm. A great time was had by all!

Great place to fly my RC airplainesz the farmer's that work there are awesome, that's why my wife and I send donations every year. Keep up the good work!!!!!
