We are local and come to the park often for the beach and the hiking trails. The beach and lake are great! We just camped there for our first time over July 4th weekend which is why I write this review. The staff were outstanding! Women in the office were so friendly and accommodating I can't say enough good things about them. The entire park was in outstanding shape. Bathrooms were very clean, real time hot water that worked great in the showers. Campers were respectful and quiet hours were adhered to. We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful State Park. They do charge a $7 fee to enter the park but the visit was well worth the fee charge. They have picnic tables and grills as well as a man-made beach with a roped off swimming area and life guard on duty. There is a small concession building but it appeared their offerings were most snack items. There are also camp sites available for extended stays.

Very nice park . A lot of back roads to get there though. Love the Hyde Hall Covered bridge. Wonderful beach.

Wow! I don’t think I have ever camped at a park this nice. The camp sites are well spaced and feel private for a place this large. This place is meticulously groomed. Large lake, hiking trails, and really nice places for the kids to play. …

The shed is located right on the beach. It is now closed for the season.
Yes you can bring your own gas grill :)
No there is not. They offer tubing which there is a fee if you want to do that. Otherwise the there is no fee to enter the park off season.
Not in the public swimming area.
Yes there is
Yes and yes
Since the weather will be nice you can expect the beach to be super busy!

I believe to rent the pavilion is around $130 -$140 for the entire pavilion.
Yes, there is a fee charged for the use of the pavilion. My family reserves one for a family reunion every summer a year in advance. There are multiple pavilions with handicap accessible bathrooms.
