We are extremely pleased with the custom fireplace doors that Jim advised for us with our input, then had fabricated, and installed. We have had friends and family over many times since, and they receive much attention and many compliments on the perfect fit, both physically, and with our cabin décor.

I contacted Jim when I was looking to install a remote on our gas fireplace. I had run into some roadblocks in getting it to work and Jim helped me trouble shoot the issues and find a solution to the problem via email - I ended up not needing him to come out to the house. I was incredibly impressed with his responsiveness and attention to detail. I would reach out to Jim again in a heartbeat for any handyman services I need. Thanks, Jim!

Needed a digital TV antenna mounted higher. Jim had the equipment and knowledge to do the job right. Price was 20. More than tall ladder rental. Plus I stayed on the ground. Made sure I got a good TV signal hide cable behind existing trim. Much better TV reception. Jim knows what he is doing. Eric Johnson Greensboro

Jim installed a spot light video camera on the side of my house where there was no existing wiring. He also installed extra electrical outlets and installed a toilet for me. He was very helpful and prompt. I really appreciated the tips and knowledge he offered towards other projects I was considering!

Richard Fines, Thank you for reaching out to me. I am sorry, I do not power wash. How soon do you need the vents replaced? I am booked at the moment, 4weeks out. Take care Jim Gardner

Good morning, We are looking to contract out services for our properties we manage in the Triad area.  Services would include general repairs, general maintenance,  property up keep  and apartment turn services.  Something you could help with?

Need 2 toilet valves replaced, I have the fixtures, and removal of lint from clothes dryer. What is the price for this?

$50 per hour, minimum of 2 hours. Where are you located? Lint in the dryer may be more than just in the dryer. Lint may be in the vent pipe. How long is the vent pipe and where does it run? (Through-the-wall, through the attic, through the crawl space)

I have replaced the valve in my tub/shower, but the cylinder keeps slipping and just turns to cold water. I even checked the diverter valve and it appears to be good. What could the problem be? It is, extremely, frustrating. Thank you.

Not sure when you posted this. There is no date so I do not know if it is current... 4/9/2018. Have you gotten this taken care of by now? If not, I need a bit more information to begin to understand your situation. I am sure that it is very frustrating. What brand of shower faucet are you working with? Not knowing the brand puts me at a disadvantage but one should be able to tell if there is a detent in the valve housing and protrusion on the valve cylinder that mate together. This mating should make it so the cylinder does not move. Then the retaining nut needs to fully seat around the cylinder pushing it fully into the valve housing. Check that the cylinder does not move out position while tightening the retaining nut. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
