The Italian Village

I was passing through town and decided to stop at The Italian Village. From the outside it looks small. However, once you get inside you realize how large the place is. I ordered some drinks, some apps, and the sampler dinner. Needless to say, I couldn't finish half of the food. Not because it was bad. But because there was sooooo much food. Their portions are extremely generous. The taste of the food reminds me of my Italian Nona's (grandma) cooking. When I come back to town, I will be back at The Italian Village.

The food was awesome! Derek our waiter was great. We had a large party in for dinner and he did a wonderful job of taking care of everyone at our table.

My husband and I went there for the first time last night…it will not be the last. I would suggest you make reservations. We didn’t have reservations so we couldn’t be seated in the dining room but they had a couple tables in the lobby and it was fine. The food was excellent but I want to spend a little time talking about the staff. Our server, Brandy, was exceptional. She was such a sweetheart and it’s rare these days to have such good customer service. Even though they were very busy she still managed to have a nice conversation with us. We were so impressed by her. Everyone we saw seemed to be such hard workers and just pitch in where it was needed. The owner came out and introduced himself and told us a little about his family and the restaurant. We had a very nice chat. Reminded me of the old days when that was more of the way it used to be. So long story short - great food, great service, great night out…a winning combination.

Excellent eggplant parmesan! Fine service. I felt a little funny when I walked in and was asked if I were picking up a delivery, I guess not many people go there alone! I would recommend it. It was enough food for two meals so I took some home!
