Leave it to Beacon's Closet to lower the bar for customer service. The person who just rang me up-hat, nose ring, tattoos- left my purchases on the counter and walked away once I paid. Cashiers have few ways of making themselves useful. Bagging a customer's purchases is one of them. This store does not exactly specialize in making customers feel appreciated, but making customers feel like you don't value their business is not smart.

really enjoyed looking through the park slope location today, a great mix of interesting pieces for sure. the selection (like every thrift store!) is skewed pretty heavily towards womanswear but i found stuff I liked and i’ll totally be back! the employees were all super friendly and helpful! if the blonde with all the cool bracelets sees this you were a legend 😌 i had the cd necklace & my ig is donovanhendrick_ js

I would not recommend for sellers, I brought in multiple designer items in good condition and apparently they weren't so they only took two items from me. THEY PAID ME $9 for a vintage Supreme item that I could have made over $200 from if I sold it on my Depop. I don't recommend selling to any of these types of shops (Buffalo Exchange, 2nd Street, etc). Ebay & Depop is the way to go.

I came in to sell some items (which were in great condition!), and I was asked to wait for 45 minutes so they can detect my clothing. I came back to the store and they haven’t even begun working on it and asked me to wait an additional 10 minutes. No biggie, the store was busy and I understand having worked in retail previously. After 10 minutes, they basically denied almost everything I brought in to sell. On top of it, most of the staff members are extremely rude. I wanted to let one worker know how many clothes I had, since I had two big bags, and her response was, “You don’t need to tell me how much.” I’m sorry? Yeah, hard pass on this store.

Generally, yes.
Hello. You don't need to make an appointment. Take with the clothes, no more than fifty pieces please. We are looking to buy parts in good condition and parts in great demand. Thanks for the question.
Yes, we will be open. Thanks for the inquiry.
Hi Michele. Google is publishing your question for anyone who has rated beacons closet to answer. You may want to contact beacons closet directly.
Not to shop or sell.
Maybe. They buy good designer clothes. Take it there and ask.
Yes
Yes. That's happened to me as well. Items need to be seasonal and pristine.
They do not buy childrens clothing. Only adult clothing and accessories too.
