Balayage by Liana Review I have Asian long dark brown hair, that was previously colored. The before picture is added to this review. I went to Hair by Hayas for a balayage, I wanted a dark brown with warm red tones for the color. The hair stylist and I agreed we wanted a deep red “wine” color. I wanted it to be blended very well so that while it grows out my roots blend in. This is what resulted! Very blotchy and not blended well. You can see very defined sections of hair dyed. Plus the color is pink! And it only got lighter during the week and less pigmented. I went in 6 days after I got it done to see if the stylist could fix it. She did not admit any fault. She said that because she only used dye and not toner, that my color was wrong. And that the contrast could be fixed by toning the hair a darker color, closer to my root color. She had another stylist wash my hair and leave it wet for her to tone with a mahogany color. I let her do strand test of the mahogany toner. She said the longer we leave it on the wet hair the darker it will get. I showed her my inspiration picture at this time, and she said it was “photoshopped” I knew from looking at that mahogany strand that it was not going to be a good fix. I asked for at least a partial refund for the hair color. The shops policy is NO refunds at all. I paid 350$ for the original balayage and cut.

This is deceit!!! I called for the appointment to claim my groupon price it is $175 , she asked for the picture and then priced it as $335 more than the double. I understand the "fine print" based on the length of the hair which is normal price of shoulder length but then increasing the price as "DEAL" more than double of it , it is robbery !!! her excuse is how expensive are the products then why you are making way lower prices on groupon! I am glad I called in advance otherwise I will go with groupon deal but then and she will charge more than the double ! Go somewhere else that really honor their listed promotions ! she is trying to attract customer with deals on groupon then using her fine prints charging regular prices for the same service. she also says that as a OWNER I am the only one who can make the decision how much I want to charge - fraudulent!

I was looking for an affordable quality hair salon as I had just moved to Boston and my friend told me about this salon. Armine has cut and blown my hair each time and the results have been perfect. She gave me beautiful angles and layers and I have received a ton of compliments! Will definitely be returning :)
