We did a 6mile hike it was fun but it was a day after rain so beginning and end of trail was flooded. Wish park ranger prepared us a bit more for that. Earning layer pug spray and oilall over if mosquitos like you. I thought I was prepared but found out I was bitten through my leggings on my thys 4 times. Only skin that was exposed was my arms so there a different breediut there lol

There are no public buggy tours unless it is a pre setup group for schools/master gardeners, ect. The buggies are mostly used for work in the preserve which is to muddy or wet to reach with standard vehicles.

The preserve has typically been open on weekends during the winter, but closed on weekends the rest of the year. It is best to check the website for the current status.
Last time we were there, it took us about 2 1/2 hours to hike the long loop trail.
Yes! There was is one small Loop that has a water crossing but nothing crazy! I have seen many people out there with strollers but i can be bumpy at times!
