Went to Creekside for the first time on Memorial Day. We called ahead to make sure they were open, and let them know our party size of 8. We were told that they were busy, but to come on. When we arrived they were busy, and we sat ourselves as the sign instructed. What made the service bad, was that no one acknowledged us for 30 minutes. We had two waitresses walk past our table multiple times, and made it a point not to look at or speak to us. We had 4 children, and would have been completely fine if someone said hello, and they would be with us as quick as possible etc. We didn't have a single person offer us a water, or coffee etc. Just seemed very unfriendly. We agreed that 30 minutes without a single person speaking to us was rude, and we left. I'm just supprised, because because I don't mind waiting, but its not hard to acknowledge people and give a couple drinks while we waited.

I’ve been in numerous times now with my husband and kids, we were so ecstatic to have found this café after moving here from California. We’ve been coming here for over a few months now and love it. The owners and staff are outstanding and are so very welcoming and attentive when taking orders and making sure everything comes to us in a timely fashion. The food is spectacular, and we were pleased to have found a comparable restaurant to the ones we were used to. The food has always been fantastically well-made always and arriving hot and equally tasty. My family visited us for a week from out of state also loved just how well taken care the establishment is. My family remarked at how spotless and thorough they are in making sure everything is well taken care of. We always look forward to coming in and visiting with yall and with the wonderful people we have met through yall!

If there was a 0 rating it would be even worse but that’s what I have experienced since I moved. This was the first place I tried and let me tell you. Creek Side cafe was filthy plus it took forever for waitress to take my order. Finally food arrived and of course it was cold but never saw waitress again. I was hungry so I decided to eat it anyway. Needless to I sat for a bit and never got my check even though the waitress took everyone else their check so I just went up to the register and paid, as I usually do when service is really bad. Today I decided to give them another chance so I placed a to go order and it was so horrible looking and not fit for dog food. So my advice is don’t eat here especially if you are of color I’m from Tulsa Oklahoma and worked as a waitress, hostess and assistant manager in a 5 star restaurant for 35 yrs never had a below A- rating from the health department. Because if the establishment gets a bad rating they have a week to take care of the matter, taken if it isn’t the doors are shut until the matter is taken care of. Believe me, they are very lucky they don’t have a Health Department that does monthly Food Service, inspections because they would have closed the doors and more than likely the establishment would have gone bankrupt.

We found this cafe while meandering down Main St. My husband got breakfast- eggs, bacon and pancake. He said it was excellent and cooked just the way he wanted it. I got mashed potatoes and cornbread. It was great! Iwalked in with an empty mug, my own tea bag and honey. Tiffany filled my mug with hot water and even offered to clean it for me. That was so sweet. The staff is friendly and clearly love their jobs. The price was great and we both got full. We recommend the Creekside Cafe to everyone who wants to have local flavor at its finest. We enjoyed the experience.
