Smarty Pants Ooh Aah

My Mom and I went there a little after 12 a.m for breakfast. This was the 2nd time I had been here. Service was great. My Moms coffee cup was always full and hot. The food was phenomenal. Its not very often I hear my Mom comment on how good her omelette was but she did this time. I prefer to see a cook who wears a hair net no matter what their hair length is so that would definitely be my personal opinion improvement. The gentlemen working that night did a great job so I thank them for that.

Super fast and friendly service. The food is great, but could use a bit more salt on the eggs and hashbrowns, however the pancakes are delicious. A great place to dine for breakfast, even for lunch and dinner.

They are afraid of seasoning, most things are bland, not even salt and pepper, even the undercooked fries. If you are watching your sodium intake, this is the place. Some of the breakfast items are solid: the sausage, gravy, and biscuits, are good. Best thing about this place is that it's the only food spot open after 10 in shelbyville. 2nd star just for being a trooper and staying open 24hrs.

My first waffle in over 20 years. Not very photogenic but it was very tasty, light and fluffy. Bacon and eggs very good. Sheli's cheeseburger and tator very good. Service was exceptionally good. Very efficient and pleasant. Downside, building is showing it's age. While still comfortable, the tables, booths and chairs have a lot of wear. Worst case the men's restroom was disgusting (the stall door did not latch and would stay shut). Not clean. Doubt janitor knows where this restroom is located.
